A year ago I couldn’t run a block and now have one race under my belt and many planned this spring/summer. I’m not fast and can’t go that far (yet!) but I’m consistent and do at least 3-4 runs per week. I mostly do them outside because I hate the dreadmill. I try to regularly run at least 5k’s (often more) when I go out on my weekly runs.
This list is a little short right now but I plan on doing many more this year. Keep your eyes peeled. I’m not fast by any means but I couldn’t run around the block a year ago so I’ll take what I can get.
